World Record

During September 2001, a five man jump team from the Association performed a static-line jump from 26,000 feet AMSL with oxygen, using standard round military canopies, to set a new world record for this type of equipment.

The OAT (Outside Air Temperature) was -31º C and wind speed 53kts. The longest distance traveled by a canopy was 18 miles and the descent took 32 minutes. All jumpers landed safely.
